On Monday 9th June, a small group of Riverside students from year 7 and year 8 travelled to Queen Mary University to participate in a STEM Challenge day. Students were put into mixed school groups and had to compete in challenges including robot building, constructing electric vehicles and producing an e-fit image. Two of our groups did very well and each won a challenge; an outstanding achievement as our students were much younger than many students attending from other schools. Our students involved were great ambassadors of the school and should be proud of their performance.
