On Wednesday 8th July, 30 lucky year 9 students explored the lengths and breadths of central London on the annual Riverside Rewards trip for our top attendance and merit earners.

This year, we booked the London Duck tour, which involves touring around London in a large vehicle that doubles into a boat giving tourists a look at the capital from both land and water. During this trip, we had the pleasure of learning more about the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, the London Eye and many more iconic locations. The coach then began the amphibious part of the tour, and somewhat scary part also, as we drove into the Thames and began sailing up towards tower bridge as the tour guide continued to educate us on the history of London.

In the afternoon, students enjoyed lunch in Jubilee Park on the banks of the Thames and for dessert embarked on the most epic game of Football the park has ever seen!

What a perfect way to end a superb year. Well done to all those who won their place on this trip because of their great behavior and attendance this year.
