The music GCSE students at Riverside went to the Barbican, Europe biggest cultural venue, on Tuesday the 3rd of May. We were treated 10 pieces by the BBC Symphony Orchestra. Works such as J.S. Bach’s toccata and fugue in Dminor as well as Shostakovic for turntables and symphony orchestra, a strange and wonderful mix of new and old.
